some more, the Safari guard rock buggy was awesome! but very very large for a buggy! He ended up breaking his rear dynatrac ring and pinion towing a samurai, who also broke his carrier bearing.  All the yotas in our group did well with the exception of a yota with push pull steering, broke his J arm

going out to the trial we ran called Sonbonnet, Named after an old Jeeper.  Like the goggles???  It looked like a scene out of Mad Max when everyone was Baja through the lakebed to the trail head.  That was one of the funnest parts!!!  Wraiths 85 runner is one tough truck! I lost count as to how many times we went airborn.

I had a great time out there. We had a large group  21 rigs!!! And a few had fallen back due to broken parts, mainly driveshafts etc....The dificulty of this trial varied, locked front and rear is a must, 35's are pretty much a must as well but passable with 33's  and good driving.

We spent a lot of time waiting since we had a few guys leading the way who liked to stack rocks. This trial wasvnot for the faint of heart, or for the guys who are afraid of body damage. It is possible to make it without damage however it would take you about  8 hours like it did our group.

Stop it...We would've made the WHOLE trail too,but Rusted broke a rear drive shaft, and we all decided to be real friends, and help him get back to camp...No big deal,it was still a :pokinit: load of fun. Then I won the dual case adapters from Rock Buggy Supply,so that made it better. So I guess 40s will be rocking duals soon  !...Hey,I am planning on going to the High Dessert Round-Up,where do I sign up.Hopefully we'll have 40's Toy done by then.PM me or give me a call, let me know what's up.
