Warn "Classic" bumper on a yota..

anyone ever seen someone put one on? This one was made for a full size ford so I will have to narrow it as well as make different mounting for it. Trying to decide wether to modify it or to make a new one. For that matter, anyone got any pics of 79-83 yota's with 8274's?

never seen one on... and it seems for as much work as it will be to customize it, you might as well fab a new one specifically for your truck and that winch.

the 8274 is a large winch for the front of a Hilux or runner.  

but I agree, wish I had one!     :up:

be sure to post a final shot on the truck.

I think you would be better off building a bumper.Those warn winch bumpers are kind of cheesey..I should try to get a pic of mine,,looks bad ass and its stout as hell! :up:I don't know the brand,I got it in a wrecking yard,but it looks alot like the arb bumper.I had a warn winch bumper on my 65 chev and it was flimsy and cheap..Though it had no supports on it thats the way it came. :stopit:,,anyway if I can get a pic I of mine I will post it...

That bumper looks pretty stout. Yes I can make one no problem but what can I say - I like this bumper ;)

well, i guess i need to dig out those old pictures, cause yes i run a 8274 :bowdown: on my 79, and yep,i had to put add a leafs on the front to keep it from looking like a funny car :smack:but hey theres nothing i cant winch, well till i tried to winch a buddys F-250 out of a pond, :thud:got it part of the way out befor we hung a stump and pulled the bumper winch and all off the frame :sob:had to put some serious time in fixing that ,  i'll try and find those pics and get them scanned and posted
