Hummmm  :disturbed:  Yep, I'd say it's legit, but not sure who this dude is?!?
It maybe a guy named Victor "Vitor's off-road" He had or has a shop close to Fenton Mo and deals in nothing but Toy trucks.
May have decided to get out of it and sell off his parts.

I was accumulating Toy trucks and 4-runners about two a month for a while and never payed more than $200.00 for some of them - rest were free. Got a stack of titles. I've got acreage and the room to keep allot of parts. I never keep anything thats rusted out junk - just strip em out for parts. I've got two Ford vans and a Ford Bronco to strip out now - D60 rear in one van, 302 EFI in the other van and a NP205 in the Bronco. I had to purchase a 48' reefer trailer and shelving to store all this crap. Not to mention I inherited an autoparts store inventory to boot  :eyebrow:  Nothing can stop ME I TELL YOU - NOTHING  :hammer:

Victor is a friend of mine.  He owns a shop just south of St louis.  He only deals in TOY trucks.  This is a legit operation so don't get yer panties bunched.  Just a bunch of parted out trucks.....

no, the story goes that his ex-girlfriend got a bunch of his stuff in a nasty break-up and tried to sell it.  most of the parts are junk.

Victor's a friend of your's??? Sorry to hear that <-----------------THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ON THIS FORUM :nonono:

He's got quite a reputation of sticking it to everyone one I know and anyone who I've talked to that's done transactions with him. I don't bash people for no reason at all so you know. My experience with him left me very disappointed in his caractor. I've never purchased anything with him -
<---------------AND SO YOU NEED NOT JUDGE---------------------------------> came across very shady and untrustworthy. Then I start hearing from locals stories that comfirmed my suspicion.
i.e. One was an engine he sold to Ed Fitzgerald. Ed joined our club and told us the horror story about the bad engine deal and how Victor delt with it.

A warning to anyone on this site that reads this: Do your transactions somewhere other then with Victors off-road.

Very interesting Toyoballs  I do believe Ed got his money back even after his install error, by allowing a piece of broken glass to enter one cylinder while changing spark plugs and was afraid to install when the resistance was felt while trying to locate top dead center Victor even went to where he was installing engine to help and then offered a replacement or refund Ed chose refund. sounds like Victor did more than he should of.  engine ran fine and is still in service today, Ed may just be upset because he went JEEP :D  I would love to hear these other confirming story's you speak of, post up or shut up

It seems once again that people are joining the board just to flame others.  Please take it to pirate, this is marlin.  If you have a personal problem with somebody, or feel they need to indulge in pornography, then you need to direct such comments to their pm and not clog up threads with these things.

Glen, please don't delete this post, that won't help the situation.  A better idea is to put the offending nub on suspension with a small explanation of the difference between marlin board and pirate.  We shouldn't all have to pay for the immaturity of one or two bad apples.
