Wow. The days of fourm threads.. ahh memories and flashbacks..

Anyway, I've been wheeling Toyotas since about 2009 not really hardcore, yet.

All started in NC with a 83 4x4 which I still have. Completely disassembled currently.

Probably have about 20 Toyotas on the property now in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Where cows n cheese are plentiful.

Ive bought some Marlin parts over the years and did some fourm diving for research here and there. Figured I'd sign up since I've got the Toyota bug again. I recently found the Aussie YouTube channel 4wd24/7 and it has resparked my interest in continuing to build but my rigs and maybe finish them.

Here's the rig list that I have currently

84 RCLB 4x4. w/ low mile refreshed 78 20R camper engine, 5spd and dual cases TG adapter. 4.37 factory gears and old Aussie lockers. Farm truck basically. Rears up front. No bed currently. Wanting to build an aluminum flatbed.

85 4x4 started life as a RCSB. Cab is now an Xtra cab and the bed will be shortened and bobbed 111in wheelbase. Rebuilt 22r, 5speed, dual cases original or close to it Marlin adapter. 5.71 gears welded rear and Aussie lockers up front. Trunion bearing eliminaters, Yukon super joints, rears up front , relocated steering box, high steer, ob's f250/350 front springs turned around and installed in the rear, very flexy.

Current project involves a 03 VW TDI ALH engine, TDconversions adapter plate kit, 88 V6 R150f transmission, dual transfer cases using the latest Marlin adapters, competition 4.7 reduction gear set everything will be 23 spline, 2.23 in the middle case.
1980s Dana 60 front axle, 14 bolt FF rear axle. 4.10s and gov lock in the rear (leaving stock until the truck is rolling under it's own power then gears, air lockers, updated disc brakes all around) will be using leaf springs on this build with a plethora of parts form WFO, Sky's offroad, and other random stuff from here and there. U bolt flip kits, 63in rear spring kit, most likely will be running hydro post setup from a GM or similar. Hydro assist steering. Yahdah yahdah yahdah lots of ideas floating around

Kinda stuck on which truck to build out, I have a 1991 4runner from California that's almost all rust free. 110k miles V6/auto bad engine. Or I have a 1989 ECSB 4x4 from Tennessee that's rust free with a 22re/5spd. With fuel injection problems.

1987 RCLB red 2wd from California. Most likely getting a Dana 44, 3/4 semi float van axle 3.73, or Toyota axles, and just a single cased 5speed, something the ol lady can learn with. Has a soft top canopy on it looks pretty cool.

1983 RCSB completely taken apart. 2rz 5speed, Toyota axles, pretty much stock ride height wanting 32x9.50 tires (tall skinny). Air lockers and dual cases 4.7s in both. Probably 5.71 or 4.88s haven't decided.

As for all the other Toyotas i have laying around mostly parts trucks, hand full of Tacoma's, 1st gen 4runners, pair of Coronas, a Lexus.
