Wife and two kids.  Enough about them.  Home is near KC, MO.  I'm working oversees at this time.  I get home early 2024.

I'm new the this site but have been around wheeling for about 20 years.  I started in Samurais with an 1987.  Various mods while I owned it included 1.6L 16v, T-Case Gears (4.16 and 6.5), mechanical locking rear, lifts (3.5" Shackle Reverse and 6" YJ SOA), FJ 40 Axles with Aussi lockers, PS, tire sizes, stock, 30", 33", 35" to 36" boggers.

Another project that was about to wrap up but got put on hold is a 1969 FJ40 Land Cruiser.  It has a holly sniper TBI 2F, 4 spd, Metal Tech cage, mild 3" lift, PS, on board air, 285/75r17 ATs and all the top/door combos except ambulance rear doors.

I found myself here by researching transmission to T-Case adaption for my next project, Matry.  1985 Toyota 2wd pick-up X-tra Cab Resto-Mod.  This is the Game Plan:  All Toyota, 1985 Resto-Mod from 2wd to solid front axle 4wd.  It will be used as a part time DD, pull a M416 trailer outfitted for expedition, and mild off-road trail rig.  I'll be using everything I can from a 2000 4Runner Limited 4wd in this build.  Mini truck rear axle with 4.3 R&P e-lock third.  Mini truck front housing with IFS outters from the 4Runner and custom high pinion 4.3 R&P third.  It will start on 30" tires with a suspension able to accommodate 33" tires.

Dad had an old IH Scout.  I don't recall they year exactly but I know it was a mid to late 70s.  That was a beast of a truck.  I'd love to come across one, after I get done with Marty.

Scouts are built like tanks. Unfortunately mine is rusted badly. Its fun to bounce around the woods in though.
