No clue why but for some reason I can't find my last post so here we go again, apologees if this goes out twice. Esentially I am doing a low center of gravity build for my Toyota. It's SAS'd and will be sitting on 38.5s or 40s. Both front and rear will be left leaf-sprung for some time. The front is a trail gear ifs eliminator kit currently with 4" of lift. I am going to do a spring under swap on em and for the rear it is also a trail gear 4" that seemed to be 2" lower than the front so I added 2" blocks. For now what I am doing is taking the blocks out of the rear and some leafs from the pack. This is all in hopes of lowing the fram as close to 22" tall as I can get. Currently the frame is sitting at 29"!!! So hopefully I can lower it 4-5 inches with the spring under swap in the from and save up for some deavers or alcan(need to get hydro assist first) and the 4-5" of drop in the rear from block removal and removing leafs from the pack. Fingers crossed that the rear matches the front, but I can always just do a spring under the swap. Was hoping someone out there could shoot me in a better direction if I'm doing anything wrong here. Btw the trail gear kit seemed to give me a crap ton of lift. More than it says at the 4". I think this because my brother's truck is sitting on 28s and the frame is at 17" whilst mine is currently on 35s with the frame at 28" strange as when it was on 38.5s it was sitting at 29".

Pull some leafs out of the front pack and you could always add these to the front vs a spring under https://liquidironindustries.com/Liquid-Iron-Industries-Universal-Slider-Box-Kit.html

Your not gonna have a lot of flex with the spring under

You really think there is going to be reduced flex with spring under? Then why does Deaver do spring under for the Toyota rear and people claim it flexes as well as Alccan spring overs? I realize the quality of spring is almost everything with leaf spring flex along with shock placement in reference to its compression and decompression seconded by length of shackle and its angle.

My buddy is spring under in back of his first gen 4runner on 40s and its low like 20" to bottom of the frame but it doesn't flex much at all. The guys with deavers have shackles over the top of the frame

be careful quantifying all deaver springs as the same.  most long shackle "deaver spring under setups for prerunners or dezert trucks have wide thick leaves for strength . Some deaver custom packs for crawling can have a more flex by getting more smaller leaves. all about the design criteria.

That being said you should be able to get 22" belly height with 38-40" tires spring over or under as long as you are willing to clear away sheet metal and frame rail.

the leaf sliders posted above will help get the truck lower without needing a cut and turn to correct the caster on your front axle.
