First Gen 4Runner Tailgate issues

Hey folks its been awhile hope everyone is well.
A couple years back I put a new regulator and window rail in the tailgate of my 4Runner and I also fixed some broken wires. Everything worked just fine for maybe a month then all of a sudden nothing worked anymore my window does not roll up and down with the switch or the key my wiper does not work and neither does the defrost. I am hoping somebody has an idea of where to start looking for the issue and hopefully some wiring diagrams. I currently have wires running from the regulator motor to a battery box to roll my window up and down I would very much like to fix this and have it work like it should. Any tips and comments would be greatly appreciated thank you very much.
