Just wondering if anyone here has been to La Grange?
I'm taking a test run out there on the 24th.

Rumour sprendin' a-'round in that Texas town
'bout that shack outside La Grange
and you know what I'm talkin' about.
Just let me know if you wanna go
to that home out on the range.
They gotta lotta nice girls.

After further investigation La Grange is weak. :stopit:

I'll be going up Sunday to Cedar Ridge by Sonora instead.
Lots of logging skid trails.

La Grange is not too awful if you just want to get your tires dirty. There are some decent hills, and these days some mud to play in, but there's not a whole bunch of variety. I'll often go with a buddy from Modesto, just to go try out some new equipment. There are some good trails here around Sonora, but alot are still closed this time of year. There are a few "backdoors" to some of them, but not always easy to find.

I'll polly be puttin on some 35's this sunday, and I'd like to test them out and see how my runner performs with them. If your interested, i could show you a trail or two. If you know of one close by, I'd like to tag along. Let me know.

Just like what germ said, La Grange is a place to get your tires dirty and to test out equiptment.  What I found to be a good rocky trail was at del porto canyon.  Its not actually a trail but a rocky creek with water still running through it.  It's a 1.5 hrs from modesto.

My dad used to take me there to ride my dirt bike when i was a kid..i am surprised that place is still open...You are talking the place out side of snelling right??

as I remember its weak for 4x4's but a ok place to ride dirt bikes..It was close to my dads house so we used to ride it often,,but hell that was 20 years ago..Last time I was there i was 5 or 6 y/o..damn that makes me sound old..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

Last time i was at la Grange, there was a bunch of good 'ol boys there with their GF's, playing in a mud pit doin donuts and getting rowdy. Couple folks flipped their trucks, and no one could right them except my Toyota  :respect: A couple of chicks decided to strip down and mud wrestle :boobs:  :eyecrazy: which was great until they had to  :toiletwait: then some idiot threw a beer bottle  :brick: and hit some fullsize dodge, which of course started a huge  :spankbutt:  :kickbutt: :bash: :boxing: :spank:

Good cheap entertainment for a while, until they got out of hand.
