Hey everyone, I've been browsing the forum for about a month now but just made an account so that I can post in the future. I recently purchased a 1981 Toyota Truck and have been working on it in my free time. Owning already been fairly memorable! It was stolen about a month after I bought it, outside of my partner's house. Thankfully I was able to track it down with the assistance of some kind stranger on craigslist who saw an ad I posted about it being stolen. The truck was located outside of a crackhouse roughly 15 miles away from where it was taken, with one less radio, a few less speakers, some internal damage and a pair of scissors in the ignition. :P All in all that was a best case scenario and I've been working on getting the frame in good shape (we discovered a rust spot after the theft, while welding on a catalytic converter) and eventually trying to restore it to close to original condition.

Anyway, I'm excited to share a few photos and educate myself on old toyota trucks as I read through the foums!

Owning an old truck can definitely be a memorable experience, especially when working on it and restoring it to its former glory.
I've been seeing a lot of talks lately about the egr delete kit for older trucks, and it seems like a popular mod for those looking to improve performance and reliability.
