2 gen Tacoma clutch Help

2008 Tacoma 2.7l manual 5 speed 4x4. 35in tires gears 410
Issue clutch
Symptoms in two wheel drive stating out on an incline, 1st gear feels like its in 2nd, it goes into gear then will stall. But if I put it into 4x4 low the truck acts normal (normal being what it ran like during the time I've owned it. I have always felt the torque was off)
A couple of months ago I got hung up on a rock it took some effort to get off of it. After getting off the truck started having the 1st gear issue.
It drives fine on the street no issue no grinding gears but I'm starting to notice the issue at lights.
Slow to accelerate.
Someone told me I burnt the clutch and its  Engaging But slipping under torque
Any thoughts suggestions???
