Hello!

I have spent more time on some of the other forums for my 4Runner obsession and my built '99. But, I always wanted an '85 (raised in the 80's and never forgot the BTTF Hilux). After years of looking I finally found it and was the first to call within 20 minutes of it being posted. The PO was a great guy and I still stay in touch with him. He wanted someone who would take care of it and I will. No real crawling for me in this one and it will remain garaged! I've been slowly working on it for the better part of last year. I boosted the rear just a bit, cleaned up a few areas on the body and put new graphics on it (if you ever take this on let me know I figured out the best techniques I think.) But, everything including paint and upholstery are original! Glad to be on the forum!

Also, being in Colorado and having a few Runners now (and having a former Jeep life as well) I do get out and wheel a bit so I'm always looking to hook up with guys. I know, I know I need to join Rising Sun but it's been busy with kiddos etc. My family are all Mile Hi Jeep Club members (3rd generation and Gpa was a founding member) but I went the way of the Yota.

Well, it was either this or a Delorean.
