I've been lurking off and on since about '09. Got tired of just reading, so I figured it was time for a forums account!
I'm new here, but not new to wheeling in general. I usually have more mild rigs. I've had a 81 on RUF and 35s nothing big done to it. High school truck! Old girl taught me a lot for sure.
Right now, I have an '80 on OME 4" on 35s, 22r swap, spool in the rear that was in it when I got it, PO didn't remember which one, will find out next time I drop oils. Snorkel, 32/36, stock gears still. Doesn't get out of it's way, but gets where it's pointing for sure. Building a dual case right now for it. Last wheeling trip, I got a bearing noise that developed in the tranny so I have bearings and synchros at home for that too. Body is square, but bed is all rusted out(Thanks Alaska!) so this winter it's getting a tube bed as well.
That stuff would already be on it, but I'm getting ready to run the Baja 1000, so the RzR has been pushed up to the top of my list.
