Topic: Replace lock cylinder and wiring. Cranks but won’t fire

Title pretty much says it all.  Someone stole my 91 Toyota and drill out the ignition cylinder and internals.  Took the internals out of my parts truck and everything works great except when it turns over it doesn’t fire.  Any ideas would be helpful thanks

Have you checked the ignition fuse inside the cab?

Check the ignition switch.

Yeah I just checked the fuse.  Before I put the new lock cylinder in and the wiring behind it I was just hot wiring it with bare wires. Figured it should work the same putting it back to stock.

Check to see if you are getting spark at the spark plugs, to determine if the issue is related to the ignition or something else.

No spark from the coil.  Might have put the internals in backwards. The wheel unlocks in the lock position lol
