H...  you are a good man!  :beerchug:

I like you.  I'd like you more if you were closer and living here in the desert.  We'd be building stuff and making carb'd engines run like raped apes.   :yikes:

You'd have a minor problem here though.... deciding which 4-wheel'n trail to run... there's lots and lots of trails here, every terrain you can think of.

Oh.... hunting and fishing too.  :yesnod:

You can be standing in your tank top and shorts with sunshine at 75 degrees at 1,100 feet elevation, then decide to go on a snow run and be in 5 feet of snow and 30 degrees at 7,000 feet elevation in about 2 hours..... you would not be in your tank top and shorts.  :gap:

Sometime in the future I would love to make it up to Highwood to visit you all.  :driving:

2 more work days to survive, then my time is my own!

Temps have been -10F to -22F for the last two weeks.  I have spent the majority of my work days outside fixing fence and making an awesome sorting pen/calving pen in an unheated barn.  Got a little fab time in a shop with a wood stove which has helped.  It's up to 0F this morning so I am excited.  The skin on my nose feels kind of burned and my lips are all cracked so it hurts to eat.

Last weekend we moved most of our stuff and all the horses and cows back to our off-grid cabin.  Animal loading went really well but it was a process of dragging the suburban with a huge trailer through deep snow with the Toyota.  Snow is about 2 feet here now with lots of blowing snow drifts.

"Walking the crawler" totally plays for herding cows.  You put it in 2nd double low, set course and then get out and walk.  The cows totally think there are two of you...

Does this mean crawler trucks are going to make cattle dogs obsolete? :)
