Long time lurker first time poster

My project is an '83 Pickup swapping in the 3rz I've read through the large 3rz thread back when I was considering the swap, but its been awhile. Planning on reading it again. I don't have any of the original wiring from the '83, but I do have all of the wiring from the '96 Tacoma. Has anyone done a build thread or any advice going about it this way?

A little about me, I'm a two tour Army veteran of OEF/OIF, have almost always driven Toyotas. In no particular order 1987 and 1988 4Runner, 1988 4wd Pickup, 1992 2wd pickup, 1994 4wd Pickup, 2004 Rav 4, 2010 Tundra, i still daily the 87 4Runner.
