4.7f-2.8r swap

So I recently purchased an 87 Toyota with a 4.7 front case and 2.8 rear twin stick. In the past I had the same setup only in the reverse order, 2.8 front and 4.7 rear. Can I simply change the order of the cases or do I need to swap the internal components? I

I think you'll have to figure out what spline count you have on each case for input and output... If everything is the same, then yeah, you should be able to swap the cases if that's what you want to do
