Going rate for a used G52/54?

What is the going rate for a used G52/54 transmission?  A coworker has one, and just wants it out of his garage.  He first said $100.  Then he thought is was a W56 and wanted $400 for it.  I had him send me some pics, and its a G series.  Thinking of picking it up for spare parts.  Never know,

What is the going rate for a used G52/54 transmission? 

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

It's worth $100.

That's just my opinion - it may only be worth $100.

Well, he only wants $150 for all of it.     Clean it up, and check out the gears and seals, and sell it or put it on the shelf as a spare.  I know its the G series, but somebody will need it.  I am keeping the Tcase tho!
