2005 Rubithon 17th Annual June 15-19th ??

Hey guys,

#1) I heard that a couple of years ago the Rubithon was cancelled because there was still to much snow on the con so the road wasn't even opened yet..

Well if that's true, then how can they make it this year? The amount of snow the sierras have gotten this year is wwaayy above normal, Im sure more than it was a couple of years ago.

And #2) WHO'S GOING!  I've gotta somehow get Marlin's 3RZ swap in starting May 24th and finishing before June 15th So if the Rubithon is still going on, I'll be there with my rig, but in the same condition that it's in right now. I won't get to work on my truck until I finish Marlin's first

I almost forgot, we will be running the Sweeper group:

Marlin Crawler and Friends      Trail Sweep
Fee: $70.00

Depart Loon Lake on Marlin Time!    Trail Leader:  Marlin Crawler and crew.

Marlin has graciously volunteered to run Trail Sweep.  Trail Sweep will depart Loon Lake on Marlin time and repair any truck found broken along the trail during his trip to Rubicon Springs.  They will eventually camp near a severely maimed truck.  You have to really want to go with Marlin and you must get confirmation from Marlin himself.
