I have sat on my computer for 3 freaking days straight trying to find a new shift lever for my 1990 toyota pickup 4x4 dlx with w56c trany in it. The previous Dumb A** that owned the truck a long time ago put a body lift on and instead of buying a lift extention, he just decided to cut the lever add in 3 inch of bar, and sh** weld it all together. Im so frustrated that i wanna call him and bless him out. Please please some one help me. Im having the body lift removed tommorrow but i cant if i cang have stock lever heaight.

well, as far as I know Marlin is working on providing a shift lever with their short throw kits for the W series transmissions, so you could kill two birds with one stone and get a short throw OR try and call them and ask if they sell them separate?

If you live in a state with rust, you can probably find toyotas in junk yards, if you live in arizona then you're SOL cause those trucks are bought before they get off the flatbed.

Good luck!

Its the 6 bolt forward shifter, with the gear lever and transfer case lever on the same plate, anyway of posting pictures on a thread so i could show the problem with the custom diy bs riggin?

I have both the t-case and shifter lever from a G52 that you can have. They are sort of opposite from the w56, the t-case lever is closer to the driver and the trans is more centered but they should work. I'm in AZ.
