Trixxie the 1981 Toyota Trekker - NORCAL
« on: Oct 26, 2016, 09:39:44 AM »
Welp, I am officially, putting up for sale my beloved Trekker. It is an original 1981 Toyota Trekker that is fully custom built from the ground up
I have a build thread here on MC if you would like to see more detailed history of the vehicle.
This truck started as a completely stock Trekker, and has slowly been built into what it is now.
All work was done in house. Most of this truck is not even stock anymore. All the bumpers, cages, and any other fabrication work was done at my shop.  The 4wheel Underground Front 3link kit as well as Fox coil overs, with custom shock hoops and engine cross brace were all built professionally. Attached to the 3link kit, is an HP fj80 Front axle, with Hell Fire Knuckles, will all heimed steering.

The rear is sitting on fox 2.0 shocks with trail-gear 4hd springs... attached to a Tundra/t100 rear axle which has a welded third. (both thirds have 4.10 gearing)

All of this is powered by a 22r Gotpropane injection kit, with a Tig welded, Ceramic coated Yota1 Top Mount turbo manifold, with t3 turbo sitting on top of it. Down 2.25 exhaust, with a Black-widow muffler.  All Intake, and turbo tubing Is tig welded Aluminum, with high quality Silicone Couplers.  The turbo is monitored by an AEM, Fuel air/boost gauge, set at about 7psi.

The power steering has been upgraded to the High Pressure PSC Pump, and Reservoir kit, along with a nice Power steering cooler. All lines have been made correctly with high end push lock fittings, as well as High pressure fittings on the pressure side. (i do not skimp on lines, or fittings) this has been set up with Ram Assist, How ever after linking the front end, i did not re-install the ram, I have a 2.0x6in PSC Ram that will be sold with the truck that is perfect for Ram assist, After linking it I had planned on doing full hydro, with a single ended ram so i did not re install it.

The brake MC and booster has been upgraded to a 7/8 bore Master, and booster from a Mazda Miata, or 626.

Stock transmission, with dual stock cases.. Both front and rear D-shafts are made with .188 wall HD material.
All held in by a custom cross member, tied together  between link pockets.

I have a 36in Corbeau bench seat in the rear protected by a roll cage, that has been tied into the frame, as well as the fiberglass bed. The cage is fully removable, and has bushings on all attachment points.

Front seats are Acura bucket seats.  (for extra money i have 4 PRP bucket seats that could be sold with the truck)

Due to the Turbo and Extra heat, i have installed a 3row aluminum radiator.
The vitals of the motor are all monitored by high end Speed Hut gauges.

Installed with an Optima Battery, i have Blue Seas, Fuse block/Relays for all extra Rock lights, and Bumper lights.

The truck is sitting on 35x12.50xr17 BFG Muds, with Custom made, 5x Stealth Custom Series Ray10's, with the limited color combo.
All parts are are held together by Grade 8 nuts and bolts. I really dont skimp on anything when building trucks,
I am sure i am forgetting alot of stuff..but  I have a list of parts that can go with it..

I would also let the 12k lb trailer that I use to tow it, go with it for the right price.
I am asking 11k$
I would consider partial trade, for a very nice DD vehicle, something in the Luxury Sedan genre...

I got off those for that reason. What you did is pure beauty  and most of those guys on there have no clue what they're doing or an understanding of how much time you've put it let alone the amount of money.  The guy who's just being a Richard can F off. I'm sad to see you selling this and I hope who ever buys it truly appreciates everything you did to it.
