R150F tranny
« on: Aug 06, 2016, 12:17:36 PM »
I have a 1993 Toyota 4x4 pickup with 3.0 V6 and a R150F tranny. I am trying to locate the 33311 input shaft for replacement. Does anyone have a source or even the Toyota part number so that I can search further? Robert

I own a 1990 T10 4x4 w/22RE and W56, a 1993 T10 4x4 w/3vze and R150F, a 1994 T10 4x4 w/22RE and W56, all on 32x11.50 Falkens. I also own a 2010 Camry LE, w/2.5 and 6 speed auto.

What's weird is I would think anyone doing a 3.4 swap would need to change out that input? Leaving the correct one to get to you.
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

I do not. I was/am slightly in the same boat. I wanted to TDI swap a 4runner. preferably a 97. I wanted a v6 for towing capacity. I have a r151 bellhousing, but in order to used it I would need an early v6 input shaft. I think I will probably end up doing an automatic if I ever get around to the swap. Right now I have an 85 toyota/tdi/samurai body frame combo. axles trans and tcase are all yota, frame steering box body are samurai and a 1.9 manual pumped TDI  about 80% complete at this moment.

Thanks for responding, I guess I'm going to have to pull the shaft and weld it up and turn it back down to specs. It's a lot of extra work but without a part number or a source for a new or good used one my options are limited. Do you know if the shaft will come out the front if you pull the bearing? That would save a lot extra work tearing down the gearbox.
