Nice SCORE on the free 4Runner!! Too cool! :yesnod:

No fire as in it won't fire up? Why were those fuses blown? Are they fusible links or are they your AM1 and AM2 circuits?

So here are some questions for you.
let me know answers and We can continue.

How fast is the engine cranking over? slow or what you would expect as normal?
Has the truck ever run? what is its history if you know any of it?
What item is getting hot again?
Have you rechecked the fuses again after replacing.

Here is a video on how to check the engines spark properly.

let me know and we can continue

I was recharging the battery 15 AMP's. I unconnected the Battery Charger And tried to Crank the Engine: No response except the clicking noise/fuel.

So now it does not crank over? check the previously blown fuses to see if they are open circuit again.

so because its a "standard vehicle" I assume you mean manual you think its the starter? Why?

Because i haven't touched it in a month, so i went online and signed up.
I still think its a prank, and if it is and I called you on it, shame on you for continuing.
even so I am obligated to help.

I'm sorry.. for making this sound like a prank.
i am only 14 and a half years old..

Q:)bestgen4runner- so because its a "standard vehicle" I assume you mean manual you think its the starter? Why?

A: Because i hear 2 loud clicks, nothing else happens.

and i checked for blown fuses, they we're fine.
I'll Bump this post up soon and give you updates on what is happening..
i do not want this vehicle to be screw'd up, by my intelligence.
so i'm going to have my neighbor assist me.

I'm sorry if i wasted your time.

I think Infinitive locked the topic by mistake. I just unlocked it. If it was a mod who locked it, well, I wanna see where this goes :gap:

Infinitive,

If you only get a clicking sound when you rotate the key from the ON to the START position, then two quick issues come to mind:

1. You do not have enough amperage at the battery and your batter cables are not firmly connected

and/or

2. Your starter has bad starter contacts. Try smacking on your starter while someone rotates the key back and forth between the ON and START positions.

Regards,
BigMike

Get your battery charged up so that it  (the battery) is strong enough to turn the motor. Once that happens, with supervision, spray starter fluid into the air intake. If you're getting spark, and the engine is turning over, it should start and run for about 5 to 10 seconds. That will let you know you are not getting gas. Check the fuses and make sure you fuel pump is working.
