5 lnch all pro lift springs
« on: Jan 04, 2004, 02:02:40 PM »
I am looking into a bigger lift for my 82 toyota 4x4 right now i have just an add a leaf 3 inch lift in the front with stock in rear, and a 3 inch body lift over 33 inch boggers.
I have another 80 model toyota with a 7 inch skyjacker lift but its way too stiff for me it does not have very good flex at all. It has a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch shackles and its over 38 inch super swamper tsl's.
I am wanting too replace the 3 inch on the 82 with something better that still flex's good but will give me enought lift too flex some 37 inch boggers with my 3 inch body lift also.

I have been noticeing most of the people are running the new 5 inch all pro lift springs that the stock ones move the axel forward an inch and the long travel move it 11/2 inches foreward.
The long travel says u need a new spring hanger and i was wondering if its in the back of the spring or the front?
I will prob go with the stock location springs but i want too know if u all like them? how good they flex? any thing else about them what size tires they can clear with just the springs no body or shackles?

Any lnfo on them will help alot.

ya i looked on all pro's web site and saw the new spring mount.
I think im going too order the stock length springs.
Is anyone using them? How well do they flex?
Are they worth the 200 bucks, and what size tires do they clear?

I built my front springs using the stock rears and some 2 1/2 inch downey sorings i had..They are longer then stock fronts and move the front axle forward 2 inches..I used bud builts banna shackles..Wroks killer..i am very happy with it..I am running a 6 pack set up now in the fron but might add one more leaf up front and see what happens..It gave me about 4 1/4 inches of lift but with a 2in body lift and the axle forward I think is a pretty good set up..Keeps it low but still able to run bigger meats...
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

ya thats similar too what im running now but its stock front springs with 2 3/4 leafs mixed in there as well and it gives me about 3 inches of lift but still flexes good because the leafs come appart when it flexs.
But i am wanting too go something i can use offroad but still be able too drive it down the road too the trail and around town with out so much body roll.

Whats nice about the rears up front is the relocation of the front forward 2 inches..What sucks is having to get a longer driveline..
