Older 4cyl Turbo?
« on: Mar 27, 2005, 01:34:11 PM »
Does anyone know what an older 4wd 4cyl. turbo's 3rd looks like?

I have a diff and it looks similar to the stock 4cyl. 3rd, but the carrier is much larger. Is there any markings on the 3rd that I should look for to identify it?

Go here:

and here:

Ok, thanks... I guess the one I have is not a V6 or 4cyl turbo.

If it is a 4-cyl NON TURBO carier than it will use (Nachi part number) 17831 carier bearings.  If its a V-6 or a turbo it will not.  Hope this helps.
