R150 2wd to transfer case?
« on: Feb 01, 2016, 02:11:43 PM »
I can't seem to find an answer to my question.  I have an 89 2wd 3.0 ex cab pickup I am building and I bought a 3.4 to swap in.  I was going to buy an adapter and an R150f to put dual cases behind it along with the 23 spline input.  Is there a way to use the 2wd r150 instead of buying an R150f?

you would need the tail housing off the r150f, and most likely the output shaft. :headscratch: I would think to obtain those parts, your most likely going to have to buy a r150f, may as well just swap whole trans
