Tacoma divorced transfer case
« on: Feb 06, 2014, 11:48:20 AM »
Well I've been thinking of a easy way to connect a transfer case onto my 2wd transmission and I came up with connecting them by a long coupler or what not. Would this work or another way besides adapters be better?

I've assumed this would work, since we could divorce them using yokes.

Divorced t-case will work. just that it is very long and depending on how the shift linkage will be able to shift inside the cab. I thought about this setup in the beginning of my build but was too long and much more work than using a 4wd trans. If you put duals with divorced t-case then it will just be more and more modifications.
89 Toyota Pickup 4WD -always work in progress.
