Topic: full float toyota??

hey is there a full floater :bowdown:for my 79,   i see these floater kits for dana axles all the time,  or do you have heavy duty rear axle bearings :help:if not maybe that wouldbe a good idea

8) ;)their kit looks like a winner,  guess its a good thing i havent done the disc brake swap yet,  they say $700 for their kit, not sure what that involves other than shafts?  bu with the big tires  and all those crazy drivers   we all NEED better brakes

I hope Brian hops in on this thread, he told me not to run disks on a toyota even though he sells them...

why not disc brakes :confused:sounds like a good idea, besides i just prefer them over the drums,  only reason i can see would be the e brake, but All pro has the cure for that

You know High Angle Drive Line sells a disk brake kit as well as All Pro too.

I have disks on my truck and I found that using the brake parts from a toyota car works well (the master and the distributor doohickey) since they have 4 wheel disks..

oh  i see the residual valve thing,  i was going to use a master cylinder from a fj-80, ( suggested by AllPro)with  two residual valves

just use one from a car with disk brakes, that is what I did on my truck and it seems to work. Hey Jess tell us bout your conversion!

Also, are you still making u-joints? The craze seems to be CTM but I'd rather try yours if ya got em..
