Twin stick mod w/ dual cases.
« on: Jul 01, 2002, 08:31:03 AM »
I'm trying to set my rear case up for twin stick operation.  On a dual case, can the interlock pin be removed with the adapter installed? I'm trying to modify mine and can't seem to get the hi-lo shift rod far enough forward to get the pin to come out. I can see the end of the shift rod in the middle of the hole the plug came out of but I assume it has to clear the plug hole.

Was able to push the shift rod far enough forward, must have been hanging up on the gasket at the adapter end.  Anyway, now just can't seem to get the interlock pin so come out. I'll move out enough to block the shift rod but won't come out any farther.  Any tips?

Finally got it out using a small pencil magnet after trying a number of things.  A small pick to clean up the edges of the hole it was in and then working the 2-4 rail back and forth all of a sudden the magnet was able to pull it out.  Must have been held in w/ suction from some grease.
