Ellectrical Trouble
« on: May 15, 2012, 08:55:35 PM »
I have an 83 toyota pickup that wont take a charge.  I have replaced the alternator and battery and still the truck runs until the battery is dead.  Its almost like the alternator is not working.  Does anyone know what could cause the alternator not to charge the battery or what could cause a new alternator to immediately go bad? Also when i hook the truck up to another truck with jumper cables everything works normally.
