Topic: Need some Advice ??

I need some help here guys and some advice on what do this winter and so forth.My problem is that I am a relationship with a gal i love to death but in the same time I love the seasonal work life , working in National Parks and would love to work in a year around park like Yosemite for example.However, I am not sure if I want to stay in this relationship due to moving forward my career in the National Park job life.

What would you guys consider I do ?

You ultimately need to do what makes you happy BUT we arent the people you should be talking to about this. Talk to your girlfriend about it!, To me it sounds quite like you dont "Love her to death" like you think you do since you can just up and think that you may need to break off your relationship with someone to further your career.

What kind of park job are you thinking of going into ?

What i'm really getting at with the above question is if you two really have a "bond" and similar interests/goals.

Nobody can give you the correct answer but you.  You have to weigh the value of your relationship and it's potential with the value of pursuing your career dreams.

I know that no one can give me the right answer on what to do here it is just a really tough choice on how / when to say this to her.On that I wanna keep to doing seasonal work when she does not.The reason she wants to go back to her home state is to be around her family and friends and is done with this type of job and wants more out of a job etc.

The job type of job I am looking is a security job at Yosemite N P.Other something entry level just to get on there and wait for something to come open that is better pay since it is year around.I know it is probably selflessness of me to drop a relationship but I dunno.This would be a great chance to go in long term with a company I have worked for 2 summers already and enjoy working for them and just love the people who work in the National Park. This is not a park service job just a company who runs the hotels, restaurants and other perks inside the park .

Ok so I guess my real question would be how do I go about telling her this , I know she would be upset either way be wise I've tried to tell her before and she wasn't too thrilled and we broke up for like a week then back together ..so its a major tough choice for me .... Ugh lice choices lol.

well sounds to me like you have made the choice already, and it seams to me that she wants to go home and you want to stay here so guess its over and you both need to move on and remember the good times you had and try to stay friends

 The best piece of advice I can give is just be honest with her, explain it like you did w/ us... how great the job and people are and how this is a huge opportunity for you that you just can't pass up.

She'll either get it or not... if not... oh well your not together anyways and will probably never see each other again.

Well I've decided that it is best to stay in the relationship with gal I love. Due to the fac we do have the same goals and mostly same interest and do care for another. And I just need to let the seasonal life go and do what will feel better in the long. I think it was just a scared moment of actually setting down . I don't know if any has felt that way about a person or just too scared to be in a long term relationship type deal.. After a long talk over it the situation  I felt more interest to go forward more what ever that means I guess. Appreciate all your guys help and ideas. sorry to bring such fun to board.  Plan this winter will to be move to Wis Green Bay area and be with her and go from there .....
