4.3 into 1980 PU
« on: Mar 26, 2012, 12:02:46 PM »
My buddy is lookin at buying a 80 truck with no motor, but it has a Chev v6 bellhousing adapter already. It had a v6 in it already but it was sold and the guy wanted to put the Vortec in it. We have a TBI 4.3 that we want to swap it in, but we are having issues with finding what clutch parts we need for the swap. Do we just use a the clutch and what not tor the Toy tranny? Or is there a swap kit?

Which toyota tranny is in it ? best thing to do is call up advance adapters and tell them what you've got and they can set you up with what you need
