Looked in to the swap more. It can be done and with not a ton of other mods. A guy did one back in 08 in a 90's style truck with a suspension lift and no body lift. It doesnt have the covers but using some kind of benz mount it sat in there nice.

I cant say i wanna take it on at this point as much as i love my truck and would love to have that power i think Im happy as i am. I may charge it later but plans for other projects and stuff make me wanna be done with my truck for a bit. Im going to pull my motor in the coming weeks to respray the engine bay and get it cleaned up.
87 longbed bobbed 12inches, locked,geared,Tacoma dash, 3rz swap Its a never ending project.
