Topic: AC parts for 22re

Hi,
  Im looking for all the AC parts for my 95 4runner with a 22re in it. I bought the 4runner a couple of weeks ago. And took it to show one of my buddies that has a 91 4runner with the same motor. His AC looked different from mine. So I did some research and turns out the one thats in there is for a RV. So the PO switched them for some stupid reason. So looking to put it back to stock. So if you have the parts laying around let me know if you would like to sell or donate:). Thanks

I have a stock ac compressor from my 85 4runner laying in my garage with nearly new belt. What would you offer? Keep in mind shipping from 95747

Would that work on my 95 4runner? Also do you have the bracket for it also?

The 85 would be for R12

Don't know if the 95 is R134a or R12...........

No I do not have a spare bracket. I do not know the compatibility for the different years.

95 4runner is a r-134a system, an r-12 compressor won't work

what was the last year they used the R12?

1993 was the transition year from r-12 to r134a.

Update:   I put a belt on the pump and recharged the system and now it works great. So going to use it till it doesn't work anymore.
