Topic: How hard is it convert an auto to a manual?

Friend of mine has an auto and would like to convert it to a manual
how much would he have to spend and how hard it would be.

find a donor truck that had a manual trans to swap over all the parts (pedal, master, lines, etc.) install manual trans, I had to leave my auto ecu in and just jump the neutral safety wires and it works fine

yeah just jump the nuetral safety switch. the rest is cake. pedals, clutch line, master n slave cyliner, flywheel, clutch, cut the floor board a bit... and bam! your good. you may need to lengthen the driveline an inch. auto setups are usually a tad longer. and the crossmember might be different. getting donor rig would be the easiest. ive swapped two autos to manuals. not intirely hard. i did a full swap, harness and all and then the easy swap like mentioned above. both work fine.

the safety switch looped... you can start your car without pressing the clutch ;] long as its in nuetral. it starts like an auto i loved that part. didnt have to get in the rig to warm it up.

Thanks for all the info but ended up selling it for 1500
