Alternator upgrade
« on: Oct 27, 2011, 12:22:37 AM »
I've seen some gm single wire alternator upgrade kits and was wondering which one is better or easier than another and how would you or how hard is it to wire in so your dummy light still works? The way I understand it single wire means one cable straight to the battery and on the factory plug there is a few more wires that include the dummy light in the dash. Anybody have any insight on how to include the dash battery light? Any help would be appreciated

There is a bunch of information about this out there. I'm getting ready to do the GM alt upgrade but, not the one wire setup. There is a better way.

Check out MAD enterprises tech info and you will know why.
