what should i do?

i bought a 92 runner a few months back i know nothing about crawling and read as much as i can what would be some advice as to what i should do to my rig to slow build it up? eventually sas but i need to save money but till then? :think:

get a locker for the rear. you will be surprised at how far that takes you

if you are planning on sas'ing it then it would be a waste of money to get a locker for the 7.5" diff. SFA diffs are 8"

oh okay that makes sence and i do plan on doing a sas im accually buying a sa for 300 and i got some springs then ill slowly buy the other parts i need but im trying to save money to do so.

Yup a locker is one of the biggest things that will make a huge difference in an IFS rig since the limited travel up front will have you lifting tires all the time. Other upgrades would be duals or a single case and a lift with larger tires.

Armor.  Transfer case skid/crossmember, bumpers, sliders.  Unless you dig a ton of sheetmetal damage.

A locker in the rear to start, gears, and tires.

Make a plan for what you want the final product to be.  You'll save money buying the right part the first time, rather than changing things as you go.  For instance, don't buy a single case crossmember if you know you will be doing duals down the road.
