My 1981 Toy
« on: Apr 21, 2011, 09:47:49 PM »
What's up guys. Here is my build I'm working on. I got this truck recently and it has been sitting for about 4 years been hacked on,wire nutted, spliced, and rig wrong. With that said the motor is in great condition same with tranny both have less than 40,000 miles. I'm basically starting at the rear axle and moving forward to engine.  I'm doing all my own work not a perfesional mechanic or fabricator but giving it 100%.

The goodies & Plans

Tsl swampers 33x12.50.
Spool ordered
5" skyjacker springs
Rebuilt back brakes
Rebuilt berfs.  By me
Removed rust in floor boards. Currently working on
Fabed new body mount brackets. Currently working on holy crap need welding lessons been a long time but there strong
Completely rewiring with a kit from Keep it Clean warring. Next on list after floor boards
Complete engine tune hoses, plugs, etc.
Spray in bed liner in cab for future rust protection.

Then go wheeling and see what brakes LOL

It was a system that was on sale way more wires than I need.  It was a 15 fuse system don't remember the model number sorry.
