check engine light
« on: Oct 14, 2002, 11:15:05 AM »
I need some help. I'm in the middle of a 22r.e.t. swap into an 82. I can't find any one who has a check engine light? I've tried all the local part stores. I even tried Jegs, Summit, and Turbo city with no luck. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. :help:

I think any light will work. You may have some open spots in your cluster. Maybe  you can hook it into your seatbelt warning light or something like that you don't need.

Sometimes those darn Cali Laws suck :reg: I think he needs a light that says "check engine" I heard the law reads that way. If so then cut out the letters and paste over one of the lights as Paul suggests.......

You can use LED or regular bulb.
All you need is the "check engine", under it.
You can use a labeler and stick it to the dash, cluster, or where ever.
Hope this helps.
