Good Lord I want to do this swap too! How hard was it to find an engine?

Re: brown bomber goes choco taco runs!!!

i finally fired it up yesterday!!!!
it started after about 5-6 turns and ran fine then i shut it off pretty quik because it was just an open header and i dont have gauges yet.  so i got the egxaust mocked up and im getting a gauge cluster tomaro so i can go to my friends house to use the bender to run it all the way back and then it will be driveable!
its so gratifying to hear it run! and to be able to say i did it all 100% myself with only a few diagrams and advice from other people. and all in my driveway at that!

it runs and drives!!!  i drove it around the block today and it was awsome!!!  it wasnt running quite right because i only have the 02 before the cats and nothing after.  my question is, i only have one cat which is the one right off the mini-header and i still need the second one so do i need a special one or will any normal cat work?  its out of an 01 tacoma, pre-runner,auto tranny and the stock egxaust goes
o2 sensor-->cat-->cat-->o2 sensor.  any body know whats leagal for the second cat in CA?
thanks,
anthony
p.s. still need imput on the new name?????
