Marlin or Longfield rear output?

Just like the title, would you go marlin 30 spline or longfield rear output?
Long is cheaper and has a lifetime warranty :dunno:

Two differnt outputs, Marlins is bigger all the way around. Longfields is stock (cannot remember the spline count)size. I have been running the Longfield for afew years with no problems.

Your probably can't go wrong with either one.  The Marlin Crawler product is a new design and the Longfield appears to be OEM speces other than the materials.  I'd call Marlin Crawler and discuss it with them, you may be able to purchase the Longfield from them if that's your choice.  I'd think that the Longfield would be more than adequate for the majority of people and suspect that the Marlin product is stronger due to the 30 spline design and it's also chromoly (it doesn't specify if it's the same 4330 that the Longfield is).  The price difference accounts for the additional parts that are required for the Marlin unit.

I'm running the Longfield mainly because I had previously seen them abused (without breakage) well beyond what I was ever going to do, and you just can't beat the service that Bobby provides on all his products. 
Tungsten isn't filler material!  Quit dippin' it!


Some people are like a slinky....not really good for anything, but they sure can make you smile when you shove them down the stairs!

Pretty sure the Marlin one is stronger, but you cant adapt the rear drive shaft disconnect that Front Ranges sells with it. So if front wheel digs are in your furture you may be better served going with Bobbies since is a factory replacement with the exception of much better materail.
