35" spare tire!!!! Fresno / bay area
« on: Dec 09, 2004, 10:06:57 AM »
SPARE TIRE NO LONGER NEEDED

I need a spare 35.  Procomp mud?  BFG MUD?  Im running 35 Xterrains, but since they're directional, a spare mounted xterrain may not be the most practical.  So maybe procomp mud, or BFG?

Preferably for a 15" rim too.  With rim or without rim. Thanks

Jeff

Hey Jeff, Marlin has one cherry 35" TSL Swamper on a chrome 15" rim and its brand spanking new, but I doubt he'll want to give it up. Stop by the shop and talk to him about it. Im sure he wants a pretty penny for it as it is seriously brand new.

what does a pretty penny translate into $$$'s?

Thanks Mike, but unless it's a tire I could rotate in, (which I can't really do since they're directional / 35x12.5x15 Pro-crap Xterrains),  I don't really need anything other than something with like 50% give or take, and something that can get me home on the highway.

I may stop by anyway, since I got Rocky's old 4.3/700R4 recently installed.  Took her on her maiden voyage down to Surf n' Turf at Pismo back in early Nov!

Mmmm power...

I have a 16.5" rim 6-lug with a 35x12.50/R16.5LT BFG MT, good for spare use, has sun cracks from time. about 30%, $20 for it, since I could probably recycle the aluminum rim for a nice price.

I have 3 BFG mudders  35-12.5 15's. You bring me a twelve pack of beer and you can have one. I'm in Coalinga.
They are about 20-30%. A big bottle of good whiskey will get you all three. :boozer:

Hey Lynn!!!

Jeff here...  Remember me???  Just met you today at 3 boys wrecking.  haha, small world.  I actually picked one up already.  Your hannamen fenders look pretty sweet!  I found a complete air filter to grill set up there today.  There was actually like 3 different 4.3L TBI blazers there.  One was minus the entire eng/tranny though.

Don't know what I was thinking on trying to get one of the stock exhaust "Y" sections off of one of the 4.3's...  The exhaust runs out the passenger side!!!!  Whooopsy.

Anyway, I think Im just going to take the long A/A headers off, put the stock manifolds back on, and then tow it down to the exhaust shop and have them connect the manifolds to the existing exhaust.  Then I'll be ready for the smog ref.

Thanks for your help today, and I'll talk to you soon.

Jeff
