Narrowed Dana 44 front housing/axles
« on: Mar 19, 2011, 05:15:41 PM »
Selling a narrowed Dana 44 from a mid-70's GM (passengerside diff) it was under an 80's Toyota 4wd truck, and i was told it was close to 61" when complete (wms/wms),
I was going to build it for a Chevy LUV project,, but found a complete D44 to use

** 49" from center of upper ball joint hole to upper ball joint hole

** 29" spring pad width

comes with:

1), narrowed housing "C's" have been rotated 8* and currently has some 2" tall pads on it, (they could easily be cut off)

2), both axle shafts (inner and outers) these are factory shafts, not sure what they came from but the housing was narrowed to fit them

3), narrowed stock tie rod, it's included, but someone would probably end up using it for a trail spare

4), both carrier bearing caps are there.

$100.00
local pick up only..

located near Auburn Ca
