85 Runner project
« on: Apr 18, 2011, 06:41:43 PM »
I picked up this 4runner from Sparkplug a couple of months ago, and a rolled one from my brother.  The non wrecked one an auto and the wrecked a manual... Over the last couple months I have swapped motors, swapped the manual inplace of the auto, lifted 4 inches on 33 bfg at's.

Ya, that's the idea. So far so good. This week I am sanding the entire truck and painting it od green like the fender and door. Still haven't decided on green or black for the top.  After that it's fabbing some  plate bumpers and working on the interior.

Got any ideas for some subdued OEM stripes? I thin it'd look sa-wheet ( :boobs: ) being all OD green with some flat black factory style stripes. Just a thought.

So about a month and a half ago I herniated a disc in my back and put me out of comission for a month. The last 2 weeks I have been busy building a temporary front bumper out of an old fireplace, and getting the painting done. Here are some pics..
