« on: Nov 18, 2002, 04:38:50 AM »
Does any one out there know if warn ever made a 10,000 lb winch?

I spoke to a guy that said he has one and is selling it for $225.00.

This winch turned out to be a 5000 pound winch.  Do you guys think it is worth $225?

Oh now youve lost half the expectation!

It might be worth it, but for what? Your ATV? Pulling around a truck with gear is going to be pushing its max. duty. I doubt it would last long at that rate.

Any winches on Ebay? :dunno:

Warn DID and STILL does make the M10000.  It's only available for the NON-US market.  I 'm going to buy one for my 24V HJ-60 landcruiser.  I have the US contacts to do it, but it is very expensive.  It was either that or the 8274 for my ARB bumper.  I'm going with the 10000 becuase it's a brute, and I dont care to much about speed.  The HS/HSI 9500 did replace it.
