Tailgating pisses me off to no end, but temporarily blinding somebody, jerk or not, is still highly irresponsible and illegal.  Would you still feel justified if that same person crashed from being blinded, killing theirs and/or another family in the process?  Trust me, it's a lot more satisfying and safe to just gradually slow down until they either get the hint and back off or pass out of frustration.  I've been known to just hang next to a semi for miles on the freeway, only speeding up for my exit, and I change lanes ridiculously slow once I finally do.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

I don't think there is any law on rearward facing work lights, on the front anything above the grill or non DOT aproved will get you a ticket if left uncovered.

ok well i mounted them on the on the factory spare tire carrier, and it did not work as well as i thought, probably cause those old harbor freight lights are more of a pencil beam, and that if i mounted them to far back towards the bed it would smash in to the ground when the truck goes up a steep hill. its really good for the side mirror view though.
