I have an 87 runner that came with a gutted out ifs width rear axle. I also have a rear axle that I bought pulled from an 85 pick up. and lastly I have a set of ifs width inner axles for the rear. so my question is, can i use the drum brakes from the 85 axle(shorter axle, smaller brakes) and mate them with the ifs inners and bolt it all up to the ifs width housing? I am trying to avoid spending more money on the rear axle since i have what i think is everything to complete the ifs width axle? thanks guys!
