marlin 4" springs front

 :dunno: if i buy some marlin 4" springs and install them am i gonna have problems with the stock steering in a 1985 extra cab any help appropriated thanks,

the stock steering will wear out fast so when you buy the 4inch front springs also buy a high steer kit

yes, you can use the 4 inch Marlin springs with the stock steering, you might need a drop drag link and you can NOT use a U bolt flip kit since the U bolts will interfere with the stock steering

I wish I still had the stock steering

funny mine lasted 350,000 miles the last 50,000 being offroading

stock steering will NOT last long at all with severe offroading that a LOT of people on this forum do.     :psss:  I think thats what bigarms was trying to get at.

I would go for it but keep your eye open from a cross over steering set up.
1985 toy, Hybrid 20r/22r on propane, 30splines, custom built leaf packs, welded front and rear diffs, dual ultimate crawler, full hydro, full exo, flat bed, 37' mtrs
