I have a 83 Toyota and the t case shifts perfectly fine but the 4wd drive light is always on any ideas on how to make it turn off?

would that be a manual or an automatic?

unplug the switch? see if it changes it?

manual. i just tried unplugging it but it still stays on

Hmm, made sure it was the one on the tcase... not the reverse light on the tranny right?

sounds like a short somewhere... all I can say is trace the wires back? but its pretty much gotta be a short...

would have to be short to ground to make light come on.

Logged Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working.
