Also, better shocks, a 4 link adapter and an SCX10 skid plate.

i already have all that. im reusing a lot from my losi buggy. and stick packs from the starter box.
Also, better shocks, a 4 link adapter and an SCX10 skid plate.
i'll mod it later i want to run it stock and get some rc crawlin experience then i'll mod it one mod at a time to see what makes the most difference.

but i ordered it lastnight. the artr, rooster crawler, and they had the rovers buy a pair get a pair and came with foams. so i bought those too from rpp i got an email that its been shipped so should be a few days.

Cool, you'll have fun. The torque twist is the only issue I really had with mine. I 4-linked the rear and used the SCX10 skid and that has taken care of it. Have fun with it.

What's you name over on RCC?

-- Edit --

I know it's a little late, but I forgot to mention- you'll probably want to pick up a BEC also.

That internal BEC might be just fine for now. A bigger battery or servo and you're going to need one more than likely.

I just sent you a friend request on RCC. Work on getting those 30 (meaningful) posts and 30 days, the classifieds are worth it.

yeah im going to make some posts and i'll check out the classifieds for sure. i think i got a pretty good deal though, i got my artr, motor/esc, and a set of rovers for 345 shipped to my door. at my lhs it would have been 380 plus tax and thats without the rovers. i only bought the rovers cause they were buy a pair get a pair. i didnt really need them ya know.

rock_krawler have you tried the internal spring droop setup?

No, I haven't tried a droop setup. I thought I might try it after I have a better chassis and shocks. Mine does OK with the stock stuff and the added TCS 4 link plate, longer upper links and SCX10 skid. I'm still running the original el cheapo tires that come with the RTR. After I finish up my Honcho, I'll focus on the AX10 again.

Right on, that was quick. Just take your time and enjoy yourself. All you have to do is install your electrics, right?

The rovers are great tires. They out perform everything else I've used. 4 linking is definitely a worthwhile mod that keeps the truck on check when off camber. I'm running a droop only setup with internal springs, it took a lot of tweaking to get it where I wanted it. This might just be because there is so much weight on my front axle.

yeah just the electronics, and i have them installed but i have a question? i dont know if this is normal but with my transmitter on then i turn on the esc the motor spins for a few seconds then just stops sometimes it takes a few second more, but its like there is a delay of power to the reciever from the esc. is this normal? and can i get rid of it somehow?

Hell yeah, can't go wrong with the ARTR. The Rovers are sick tires. I just had my rig out in the snow and I couldn't believe some of the hills I was able to just creep up without having to use wheel spin to make it up. They are amazing tires for sure.
