fuel/air mixture plug

so i recently put a newer 22r outta a 1990 pickup. i need to tweek the fuel/air mix a little but i cant get access to it. i kno there suppose to be a plug there (which there is) but mine is metal when i though they were rubber. i cant seem to get it out...any ideas??? thanks

I drilled a small hole in the metal plug (which is what they're suppose to be) then ran a 3" long screw in it attached vice grips and gave it a jerk and it popped right out.

Oh be careful and dont drill too deep and start with a small bit/screw just in case you strip it on the first try.

same thing I did, drilled a hole just big enough for the screw to catch in and smacked it with a hammer, walla. I do it to almost every truck that comes to my shop :D
